What: From July till December I will be living in Kenya working with a wonderful organization called African Inland Mission and I am SO excited to go and experience the culture, love on people, but most importantly I am excited to get to know Jesus in a new and deeper way.
From July through September I will be working in Kibera, which according to wikipedia (so its fact), is the second largest slum in Africa. While I'm there I'll be working with ghetto light youth which is an organization designed to give kids hope in Jesus and off the streets through projects that generate an income!
Then in October I will make the the 5 hour bus ride to what I've been told is the most beautiful place on earth, Kapsowar!! In Kapsowar I will be helping teach science and volunteering at the local hospital.
Why: Because Jesus is better than life!
