Prayer Request

Since I believe in the power of prayer and the body of Christ I wanted to give ya'll some ways to specifically be praying while I'm gone! I have such an expectant heart that the Lord is going do incredible things!

1. For a close, tender hearted, patient Kenyan woman to mentor me and to be a friend 
2. For culture shock and that I have a selfless, compassionate heart, and that I can see through Jesus eyes 
3. For my sweet family and friends at home. I know its not any news to ya'll how I feel about home :) so I am really worried that I will be longing for the comforts and the people of home. So please pray that I will be able to have my whole heart in Kenya and be present in the present 
4. For an open heart for what the Lord has next for me.  As of January, for the first time ever, I have NO PLAN! Which is terrifying but also so exciting.  Please pray that as my time comes closer to an end in Kenya that I will not be worrying about the next step but that I will trust that Jesus is sovereign and has a perfect plan
5. Healing for Carla Thompson. My small group leader who has been battling ovarian cancer for the past four years.
